This paper focuses on war landscapes understood not as simple accumulation of isolated objects, but as part of a complex and stratified system to be reinterpreted by activating a strategic military look again. In particular, it explores in-depth the theme of a large topography of concrete built for the Great War that lie on the Italian borderlands, still partially unknown, and of the definition of intervention scenarios at different scales.
