iSpace is the Italian air space projected on the territory. An ever faster networked space, which changes life styles, economies and the cities of territories connected by air traffic. Just like everywhere in Europe, even the Italian urban system is catalysed by the geography generated by major airports, which draw intense relational fields and development platforms. This book aims to analyse ground phenomenon induced by air traffic. It wishes to interpret the change produced in cities and in local landscapes by new air transport vectors and by new accessibility conditions.
