Progetti per la trasformazione sostenibile della città intorno alle aree universitarie di Genova
This book offers an input of reflections about the university role (in Italy though 80% State-funded and only 0.8% privately funded) within the city, from the economic, urban, social, cultural and symbolic point of view. From the urban planner's scale, we can legitimately identify the university as a great incentive for the construction industry, creating a considerable demand for students apartments and second-homes as a safe and profitable investment (re-evaluation of the invested capital + yearly income), leading to a rational development of small-and-medium real estate enterprises.

Abstract
This book offers an input of reflections about the university role (in Italy though 80% State-funded and only 0.8% privately funded) within the city, from the economic, urban, social, cultural and symbolic point of view. From the urban planner's scale, we can legitimately identify the university as a great incentive for the construction industry, creating a considerable demand for students apartments and second-homes as a safe and profitable investment (re-evaluation of the invested capital + yearly income), leading to a rational development of small-and-medium real estate enterprises.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
