Abstract
The banks of Sansobbia stream represent the natural border between the municipalities of Albissola Marina and Albisola Superiore. This “natural disconnection” is crossable only in few points of connection: the artificial lines of the infrastructures. Additionally, The historical, cultural and productive development helped to define two opposite characters of the two cities. Albissola Marina is closer to the sea and it has developed a larger susceptibility to seasonal tourism. Instead Albisola Superiore is mainly connected to the inner territories and it is characterized by agriculture. The paper presents the result of a design project that explore The aforementioned strong characters of the two Albisole. The programmatic actions of the project are pursuing three main objectives: the museum as a new urban attractor, the riverfront/river walk and the urban park. Rethinking the nature of the project proposal, conceiving a device that proposes an explorative image of change.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione
