Between 2011 and 2014/15, Italian labour and social law was fundamentally reformed three times. This led to a radical restructuring of the labour market services system in order to improve the chances of unemployed persons finding a new job. The reforms also included some specific measures to promote the employment of older unemployed persons. Against this background, the paper at hand dedicates itself to the new regulation of labour market services, with special emphasis on measures for older unemployed persons.
