The analysis of the robustness of reconfigurable monopulse linear antenna array considering both element failure and random deviation from their nominal value is performed using the rules of the interval arithmetic. As a result, exact bounds for the power pattern are obtained indicating the possible deviations from the ideal patterns and thus the impact of malfunctioning of common and non-common amplifiers. Preliminary results are included in order to validate the proposed strategy as well as to illustrate the potentialities of the methodology.

Abstract
The analysis of the robustness of reconfigurable monopulse linear antenna array considering both element failure and random deviation from their nominal value is performed using the rules of the interval arithmetic. As a result, exact bounds for the power pattern are obtained indicating the possible deviations from the ideal patterns and thus the impact of malfunctioning of common and non-common amplifiers. Preliminary results are included in order to validate the proposed strategy as well as to illustrate the potentialities of the methodology.File in questo prodotto:
