Las anotaciones quevedianas a las “Catecheses” de san Cirilo de Jerusalén

This paper studies and edits the Quevedo’s handwritten annotations he made on his copy of Saint Cyril Hierosolymitanus’ Catecheses, translated by Joannes Grodeck and published on 1564. In one hand the interest comes from the fact that some marginal notes coincide or explicitly aim at the use of some passages of Cyril’s work in the works Quevedo was writing at the time (e.g. Homilía a la Santísima Trinidad, La primera y más disimulada persecución de los judíos, La cuna y la sepultura, Respuesta al Padre Pineda, Providencia de Dios, Política de Dios y gobierno de Cristo, Segunda parte de Política de Dios), in the other hand the interest is also given by the fact that some annotations show Quevedo’s preferences in reading: the Bible, the Greek and Latin Classics as well as some polemic works as J.B. Poza's Elucidario. This paper also deals with the underlined passages and with the marked for attention sections .
