Landscapes and cities have many unsold, obsolete or occupied structures waiting to be reused. Very often informal or illegal actions are reactivating them with temporary activities or with the physical occupation. Urban recycling, squatting, land art, temporary installations are increasingly becoming regular practices in the transformation of problematic contexts. They are cultural actions adapted to the context, through a new physical-spatial organization or by the subjective interpretation of each user. There are mostly strategies of urban reuse and recycling, activated by the active participation of citizens. They transform the quality of landscape and urban spaces by implementing the aesthetic quality and generating new narratives. Thus, these projects propose an alternative vision, pervasive, capable of interpret the daily change of contemporary landscapes and spaces. Recycling then tells a metaphor: an ethical metaphor for an aesthetical change.
