The design of conformal arrays radiating the same field of reference linear arrangements is addressed within the Material-by-Design (MbD) framework by exploiting a two-step Quasi-Conformal Transformation Optics (QCTO) procedure. Unlike state-of-the-art design methods, the proposed approach allows to enforce that both the array and the coating are conformal to an arbitrary profile. Preliminary numerical examples are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design methodology.

Abstract
The design of conformal arrays radiating the same field of reference linear arrangements is addressed within the Material-by-Design (MbD) framework by exploiting a two-step Quasi-Conformal Transformation Optics (QCTO) procedure. Unlike state-of-the-art design methods, the proposed approach allows to enforce that both the array and the coating are conformal to an arbitrary profile. Preliminary numerical examples are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design methodology.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
