SUMMAR Y - The faunal remains from the Early Neolithic settlement of Lugo di Grezzana (Verona) - The study of the faunal remains recovered from the site Lugo di Grezzana, despite their poor preservation, has given the possibility of drawing an hypothetical picture of the presumed situation relative to the animal economy throughout the Early Neolithic. The data recovered show an economy founded primarily on breeding: over 67 remains determined (over 6.503), 91% is represented by domesticated species, while only 9% by wild species. These latter are red deer, wild boar and hare. Cattle is the predominant domestic (44 remains) followed by sheep and goat (12 remains), while pig is rare (5 remains).
