After an overview of the composition of the Russian trade, the paper looks more closely to the Italian-Russian trade, identifying the main areas where the exchange concentrates. The structure of the Russian market and consumer attitudes in relation to bathroom furniiture durable goods is then briefly discussed. Some assessment of the strategies followed by Italian exporters of the sector is presented.
